Through Feroz tinted glasses

While many remember him as the most stylish Indian star, Feroz Khan to me is one of the most underrated actors of Hindi cinema.

The man who gave Bollywood a taste of Spaghetti Westerns, Khan is synonymous with stylish cinema. As the poncho-clad gun-wielder in Khhotte Sikkay, or the righteous cop in Jaanbaaz, or the loud gangsta RDX act in Welcome his last film the Pathan was all class. Interestingly, having won the Filmfare Best Debut Award (Didi, 1960), Khan was never known for great acting skill....

After being married for 28 years, Mel Gibson and wife Robyn are separating.
Citing "irreconcilable differences" the Holly actor's wife has filed for divorce.
Interestingly, the Gibsons had one of the longest lasting marriages in Hollywood. In a world where hookups and breakups are zany affairs, it was incredible to see this couple going the distance — until now. Though Mel and Robyn have called it quits, there are still many pairs in the Wild West who are enjoying their innings together and how!

Where have the bad guys gone?

Rave reviews, standing ovation, posthumous awards Heath Ledger is getting them all. The actor's gone, but he has left Hollywood reeling under the magic of its biggest villain of all times the Joker. With its ferocity and flamboyance, the Joker has put the villains at par with the heroes or should we say superheroes?


While the Joker only bettered the evil forces in the Wild West, the Bollywood villains are slowly losing their sheen. For an industry that has forever thrived on the good vs evil formula, there haven't been many remarkable negative characters in the past decade.

Exit Bushism, Enter Zardarism

The media world over is disappointed with the end of the era of Bushism. But know what? With Zardari around,  we can still have our share of buffoonery.

Sure the dude doesn't possess the same genius as Bush. But as long as 'gorgeous' and 'empathetic' things happen, be assured of of an entertaining time....

India's Faith

They say: All's well that ends well.
It has ended…well in our favour. But is ALL well?
In nearly 60 hours, hundreds of innocent lives were wiped out and hundreds more were maimed.
The most decorated officers from the state police died in the line of duty. The armed forces lost some of their most gallant officers to this operation. Mumbai's pride, The Taj Mahal Hotel, has suffered for long.
